Tutoring Services

Face-to-face or online tutoring in English, French, Spanish and German. Classes are offered on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, at a time to suit. I am flexible with timings, and offer an Early Bird slot from 7:30-8:15/8:30 Monday to Friday. Weekend classes are also currently available.

Pricing
As a general guide, a 1:1 one hour lesson is £35. However, prices can vary according to group size and course length. Contact me to discuss your requirements and for a quote.

Modern Foreign Language Tuition

From beginner to GCSE in Spanish, French and German, whatever your age, I can help you.  Classes are offered in person or online and are adapted to your needs. If it’s to gain a qualification or to learn a language for fun, then we can put a tailored programme together.

If you are a high school student and wish to improve your grades, I can help.  As an GCSE Examiner, I am fully aware of the demands and requirements of the course.

Meeting with Jane every week enabled me to start achieving grade 8s in school as opposed to 5s and 6s previously. My confidence and understanding grew and I was starting to enjoy French! It worked for me going before school as I was often tired at the end of the day.

Online Tutoring

– Private classes from beginner to Proficiency (A1-C2 IELTS). Once your requirements in English have been identified, I will put a programme together to enable you to achieve your aims in English. As an experienced TEFL teacher, I am aware of the difficulties of English grammar and pronunciation for non-native learners. With previous students, I have worked on grammar, everyday English required for work, accent softening and practising to give presentations professionally.

– Help with UCAS applications to UK universities, for example with a student’s Personal Statement

When I lived in England, Jane helped and encouraged me to do my homework when I got to high school. I am Japanese and she supported me to do preparation for lessons.
